CASEY FREEMAN

Casey Freeman is an Ink Artist who works to develop paintings that speak to both me and others about the purity in nature. Part of her process before she begin painting is to observe and study the natural elements. She want to internalise the uniformity found in an alpine forest, the movement of billowing clouds, and the depth of colour in ocean currents. She does not want to capture the image with my brushes; rather, with a minimal selection of materials, but aims to capture the essence, simplicity, and purity of the natural world. Her ink washes hold a certain visual presence which acts as an invitation to engage, to feel, to explore how the 'pure' resides within us.

JACK BY SAM

Jack is a unique jewellery brand designed and made in Melbourne by Interior Designer Samantha Date. Practicing Interior design for 8 years has exposed me to the daily task of bringing design to life and in turn inspiring me to create beautiful objects. The influence of Melbourne’s food culture, where there are no limitations or traditions has opened my mind the opportunity of doing things differently, where I have explored blending spices into the clay. Together the influence of shape, form, emerging trends and designers as well as my foodie obsession has allowed me to create unique necklaces that represent a part of me!
