Hello again ... it's nice to be back! ( + Plus + The under $100 Pink Edit! )

Posted by on

Yes ... I know it has been a while between blog posts by KJ ... but I'm back!
After launching the new website & business on 1st December, 2017 we have been kept really busy sharing our love of Art and Interiors here online and across IG ... let me assure you it's only going to get better!

First up, I wanted to say a HUGE 'Thank you' for all the love and support I have received since re-branding to the The Interiors Assembly from The K J Collective, It's been a long time time in the making. We have a lot in the pipeline and I will be updating things here with you as they happen.

So the BIG question ... Why the change from The K J Collective?
A change is as good as a holiday they say, so why not more to the point! I have been in this space sharing my love of Interiors and Art for around 5 years now and prior to that I was playing on the 'big stage' within the building industry for over 2 decades. It was time to change it up a bit and combine my loves ... Art, Interiors and Design.
As you may well know, original Art is my 'thing' for as long as I can remember and all I have ever wanted to do is share things I love in this space ... and now I am!  ... and ... yes ... I may have allegedly converted part my parents garage into a pottery studio ( picture clay everywhere ) , a photographic dark room ( that was fun !) and an art room ( let’s just say I was very ‘expiremental’ ) during my teens, it drove them NUTS , me taking over with my ... ‘creativity’ - True story - Good thing they still love me ... !
The re-brand didn't go without a whole lotta 'Oh gawwddd what AM I doing? ... let's be honest it's a BIG thing to do!
So ... with a little bit of positive self talk, incredible support from friends, family and industry mentors I was off and running!
The response since re-launch has been quite overwhelming ... and I love it when people ask about the new business as they still know me as KJ ... 'cause that's where it all began.
What is The Interiors Assembly?

'The Interiors Assembly' is an Australian bespoke online Art and Interiors Gallery + blog. It's affordable curated Art and Interiors in one ... plus more to come. Everything here has been hand selected by me, KJ, and I hope I introduce you to incredible creatives and unique products, offering you something different, not something you see everywhere, something you will love forever. I have so many amazing Australian Artists / Brands on board, some you may know, some you may not ... each and every brand I love and thats why they are here! This new platform enables me to connect with you in a different way, through offering you an amazing array of Australian talent we have right here!

So whats on offer ?

A large selection of original artworks, bespoke works, collaborations, limited edition or limited release pieces. Oh yes ... I also offer commissioned artwork for my artists via consultation ... to be honest some artwork goes online and is sold as quick as it's uploaded!  So this is a great option to get something you really love!

That's it ... in a bit of a nutshell ...  it's great to be back here and I can't wait to share with you more amazing artists, stylists, creatives and designers here on the blog!
If you have any questions they'd like to ask me ... hit me up ... it's better you hear it all directly from me hey!?! (You can contact me via email if you would like to make a submission / ask me question / press enquiries.)
Lastly ...  the BLOG is not just about me here, it's about the broader Australian Art and Design community ... and always has been!
